WINGS OF ICARUS

I don’t think that I need to elaborate here what happened to dear Icarus. He tried to be too carefree for the wind was wild and the feathers on his arms were strong but he forgot that it was wax that was holding his wings together and when he decided to pay no heed to his father, Daedalus’s advice of not flying too close to the sun, we all know what happened. For those of you who are still wondering –the wax melted and Icarus fell to his untimely demise in front of his father’s eyes.
